Artificial intelligence has learned to recognize animal emotions. A system called Intellipig can identify pain, discomfort, and stress in them, as reported by Kazpravda.kz citing “24KZ”
The algorithm was developed by British scientists from the University of West England. It has currently been tested on pigs.
Before the animals approach their feed, a camera captures images of their faces, and in less than a second, the neural network detects what they are feeling in real-time.
Information about the pigs' condition is automatically sent to farmers' smartphones or computers as notifications.
Experts believe that this technology will enhance the quality of veterinary diagnostics in the future.
