- What is the procedure for issuing state registration numbers for mopeds?
- The issuance of state registration plates for mopeds is carried out according to the existing procedure, meaning the system automatically selects the number. A similar procedure was previously applied to motorcycles.
- What categories of driving licenses are required to operate a moped?
- According to the law "On Road Traffic," a category A1 driving license is required for this purpose. However, if the driver already holds categories A or B, this also confirms their right to operate a moped.
- What penalties are in place for those who have not registered their mopeds by April 5?
- The law prohibits operating unregistered mopeds after April 5. If such an offense is detected, penalties are stipulated in paragraph 2 of Article 590 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (a fine of 10 MRP).
