For the convenience of drivers, the medical certificate form 073/u is now available in the eGov Mobile app, allowing for even faster and easier access to the document, reports Kazpravda.kz.
According to NIT, this service was previously accessible through the eGov.kz portal, and since its launch in November 2024, over seven thousand certificates have been issued to Kazakh citizens.
The medical certificate form 073/u is a mandatory document for all drivers, confirming the absence of contraindications for operating a vehicle.
“Previously, citizens could only obtain the certificate in paper form after undergoing a medical examination by four specialists: a therapist, a psychiatrist-narcologist, an ophthalmologist, and an otolaryngologist. With the launch of the service on the eGov.kz portal, the process has become much simpler – users can now obtain the certificate in electronic format after completing a medical examination and submitting an application on the electronic government portal. Now, to obtain the document, it is sufficient to use the eGov Mobile app,” the developers note.
To use the service, you need to:
- log in to the eGov Mobile app;
- in the "Services" section, select the "Healthcare" category;
- find the service “Issuance of a medical certificate for permission to operate a vehicle (No. 073/u)”;
- sign the application using Face ID/Touch ID.
After submitting the application, the certificate will be available in the user's Personal Account history in PDF format. The document is valid for one year from the date of receipt.
The updated functionality was implemented in collaboration with the Committee for State Services of the Ministry of Digital Development, JSC “NIT,” and the Ministry of Health.
As a reminder, as of today, medical workers have issued free medications to patients based on 470 thousand prescriptions using a QR code in the “Social Wallet” section of the eGov Mobile app.
