Denis Hiki, a representative of the Saudi Arabian territory development agency (The Line) NEOM, announced at the Private Sector Forum of the Public Investment Fund that the first section of the skyscraper city "Mirror Line" will be called Hidden Marina and will stretch for 2.5 kilometers, reports correspondent Kazpravda.kz citing Naked-Science.
Hidden Marina will rise to a height of 500 meters and will consist of three separate modular segments with a mirrored exterior.
More than 80,000 apartments, 9,000 hotel rooms, commercial and retail spaces, as well as fire stations, schools, police buildings, and various services will be constructed near the yacht marina.
Currently, over 140,000 workers are involved in the construction of the project. The completion of Hidden Marina is expected by 2030, which will allow for the placement of a stadium on the top floor of the "Mirror Line" for the 2034 World Cup.
It was previously reported how much the Saudis have already spent on the "Mirror Line".
