The website of the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) highlighted the victories of Kazakh brothers-boxers Nurbek and Aibek Oralbai at the outset of the Strandja Cup-2025 in Sofia (Bulgaria), which is also referred to as the small world championship, as reported by Sports.kz.

“The most decorated member of the Kazakhstan national team, Nurbek Oralbai, moved up to the light heavyweight category (86 kg) and kicked off his campaign with a powerful performance against Bulgarian Manuil Zhechev. The referee stopped the fight in the third round.”

“The current ASBC Asian champion in the super heavyweight category (+92 kg) from Kazakhstan, Aibek Oralbai, showcased his strength in the first round against Pakistani Tahir Abdul Wahab, leading the referee to halt the bout immediately,” ASBC reports.
